Calliope: Art/Theater/Film

Introducing CALLIOPE our new ART & THEATER camps, designed for students 7-18 years old with a strong command of the English language. Each camp is sure to provide an enriching and educational experience.

This new program is named after the same same muse who inspired Homer to write his epic narrative poems The Iliad and The Odyssey, Calliope.

In Greek Mythology, the muses inspire not only humans but also the gods—in fact, Zeus never had to worry about a lack of inspiration! Of the 9 muses, Calliope is the queen who reigns and protects all other muses. In the times of antiquity, she accompanied kings and princes to help impose justice and serenity. Calliope is the guardian of poetry, the rhetorical arts, music, and writing. Who better to watch over our young artists than this beautiful muse.
