Welcoming new families to our community is a top PFA priority. Parent participation is welcome and encouraged at ASP. There is a wide range of activities offered to our parents community throughout the school year. The following describe some of our activities and the involvement of some of our groups.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to ASP on behalf of the ASP Sports Boosters.
If you have a Middle School or Upper School student playing or planning to play a Jr. Varsity or Varsity sport, you can consider yourself a member of the Sports Boosters Organization!
Sports Booster parents are responsible for many things that help the sports seasons run smoothly and raise money to help support our sports programs. They run concession stands at home games, provide baked goods for sales, help with the organization of athletic events and sell ASP logo wear.
There are many fun opportunities for you to get involved!
Eleventh and twelfth grade students can earn community service credit by working in the Sports Boosters concession stand during home games.
All ASP teams benefit from Sports Boosters volunteers. If this sounds like something that you could help out with, please send me an email to let us know.
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon.
The PFA, in collaboration with the school divisions, organizes grade level parent coffees. These meetings are an opportunity for parents to meet other fellow grade level parents and to become informed on certain topics that are of interest for each respective grade. At these gatherings, the school administrators and faculty offer informative presentations, and allow ample opportunities for question/answer and open discussions. In general, two Parent Coffee gatherings are organized per grade each year.
Senior year is a momentous event for the future graduates AND their parents! The Senior Parents group helps plan special activities every year to keep our hard-working seniors sane and to celebrate their special year. They do this by raising funds with champagne sales and other fundraisers. They coordinate announcements, senior photos, monthly treats, senior t-shirts, help organize the prom, award luncheon, graduation dinner, class gift and senior directory. The American School of Paris Parent Faculty Association Lyle-Nicoll Merit Award is a scholarship granted annually to an ASP Senior by the PFA. The award was established in memory of Jack Lyle, a faculty member and David Nicoll, a student, who were killed in 1979 in separate tragic accidents. The award is presented at the ASP graduation each year.
The award is open to all graduating ASP students regardless of nationality or location of school where pursuing further education.
The award is based on good citizenship, strong academic commitment and desire for advanced education. Financial need may be considered, however, it is not the main focus. This award is to be used by the recipient to assist in furthering his or her education.
