What is the school's protocol with regards to Covid-19 ?
The Extension Program applies the government's recommended COVID protocol for schools in France and a strict hygiene protocol of its own: high-touch surfaces are regularly disinfected, students are distanced in classrooms and in the cafeterias (the upper school cafeteria is equipped with plexiglass separations and outdoor picnic tables are available on campus for students), group mixing is avoided as much as possible and teachers and staff ensure that mask-wearing is respected. A strict protocol also applies to buses.
We must remain aware of our responsibility to each other as a community–a small lapse can have a serious impact on many others and can lead to the class's closure. Parents and children should understand the importance of respecting the health and safety measures diligently at all times while on campus but also at home or with friends.
Finally, please be rigorously attentive to your children's state of health and keep them home from class if they are showing any COVID-19-like symptoms. If you feel that there has been even the slightest risk of exposure, please let the office know, seek a rapid test at a pharmacy, or, in more serious cases, contact your doctor to proceed with age-appropriate testing.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to keep our community safe.
