SAWIRIS FAMILY LIBRARY
The Sawiris Family Library caters to students in Grades 8–12 and supports students’ literary and information needs through a variety of services and resources. Explore our catalog here.
The Sawiris Library collection supports the school curriculum, and contains both physical and digital resources. Except for a small core section, our reference and biography collection are shelved within the regular non-fiction materials.
The Library subscribes to several online databases which provide extensive resources for research, including EBSCO family of databases, QuestiaSchool, and Shmoop.
Books are checked out for a four-week period and can be renewed twice. Certain books are only available “overnight." There is no limit to the number of books a student may check out. If a whole class needs the same materials, these will be put on reserve for use at school.
Students are welcome at any time during our opening hours to work on assignments, read for pleasure, or collaborate in our dedicated small-group spaces.
