The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2022 was held at the majestic Lafayette Escadrille Memorial, a site which pays tribute to World War I heros and the strong bond between France and the United States. Familes, faculty, and alumni joined together to celebrate the Class on this milestone occasion. The event was also livestreamed to families further afield in France, and around the world. Click to watch the graduation ceremony. |
| The graduates hail from 29 different countries; 24% are French and 25% are US citizens. In comparison to latest available world scores, ASP students earned an average AP exam score of 3.3 (2.8 world) and 24% earned a perfect 5 AP score (13% world). For the IB, 100% of ASP total scores were 30+ (71% world), with Jiongtong (Eileen) Wang earning a remarkable 44/45 score, achieved by only 1.5% of candidates worldwide. Congratulations to all! |

Washington, D.C. Memorial Day weekend: Over 100 alumni community members, primarily from the 1970s classes, along with ASP Advancement Manager Janet Rubinstein, met up for a wonderful four days of reconnections and discoveries. Thank you to all alumni who attended including Monuments tour leader Helga Stoess Warren, '74, Georgetown tour leader and gathering host Charles Kirby '72, former US ambassador Michael Kirby '72 and Sara Powellson Kirby '72 who hosted a gathering for classmates, and Bob Schubert '70 who organized an event for 1970'ers and was instrumental in the weekend's large turnout by encouraging his class to attend. A reunion highlight was a silent auction of items created and donated by alumni, to benefit ASP's Annual Fund. Special gratitude goes to event mastermind and determined leader Chuck Cosgrove '72 who envisioned the reunion, engaged with venues and alumni over the preceding months, and grew attendance on a steady basis. ASP is hugely fortunate to have such an engaged and supportive alumni network. |
