Nona Kiknadze '14 "Chris Friendly, one of my favorite and most influential ASP teachers, was the one who helped ignite my passion for psychology. I loved the subject from the first moment I studied it in his class. I wanted to share with him that I have just been accepted to the University of Miami to pursue a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Chris's faith in me helped me get to where I am today. That's my journey: from Chris Friendly's ASP classroom in 2013 to a PhD program in 2021." Read more. Marie Bernard-Brind'Amour '13 Marie is pursuing her Masters in Media Studies at Concordia University. She shares: "It was so special to reconnect with my Grade 5 teacher Nadine Bertoglio. This past year, with the pandemic confining us in our homes, I have thought of the links we form throughout our lives, and the importance of taking a step back and remembering them. Teacher Appreciation Day is a great time to reach out to teachers who have made an impact on us, even if it's 15 years later!" Read more.
