The brochure for the new 2012-13 vacation programs is now available. To enroll your child, please click directly on the image of the brochure, print out the inscription pages et send them to us with your payment. You will receive additional information and a confirmation about 5 business days prior to the start of the stage. A receipt will also follow by mail after the start of the program for which you are enrolled.

"Sports" has been added as an activity for the week of  the 11-15th of March. We will be updating the brochure shortly. In the meantime, feel free to write in Sports in the activity area if it is your activity of choice for the week. 

Fall: 5-9 November

Winter: 11-15 March

Spring: there will no April session in the 2012-13 school year

Lower School

Class time is dedicated to language study integrated with arts & crafts, music, drama, and new technology. All activities focus on the current theme in order to achieve total language immersion.

 

The objective is to promote higher achievement and greater productivity by stimulating motivation and critical thinking while exploring and discovering a new culture; an unexpected educational journey!

 

Lower school students may only be registered from 9h30 to 16h. Classes and activities are designed in conjunction with an interesting theme and organized by two experienced and teacher qualified coordinators. A typical day consists of a mix of classroom instruction, outdoor (weather permitting)/gym organized games and movement, theatre, computers, art and theme based activities. Please refer to the brochure for the current theme.

Pre-register for lunch service or bring your own; microwaves, utensils, napkins and cups/water are available for your convenience. All students eat together. Monitors are present in the cafeteria to assist smaller ones with trays, cutting or re-heating food etc.

In all cases, classes are created and offered based upon enrollment. Students are separated by age and level. All printed class and activity material is in English. Oral discussions are presented only in English for bi-lingual, advanced and fluent classes and partially for beginners and intermediates. A maximum of 15 students per class is allowed and a minimum of 6 is needed to create a class.

Our main goal is to enhance activities that build vocabulary, writing skills, creativity, and most of all confidence in speaking English.

Secondary students (6e to 1e) have the possibility of registering from 9h30 to 13h OR 9h30 to 16h. All registered students participate in the same class work. From 9h30 to 13h, students cycle between oral, written and debate classes with a half an hour pause from 10h30 to 11h. From 14h to 16h, appropriately registered students participate in a selected activities among those proposed during the program.

The completion of a portfolio, that includes grammar worksheets, teachers’ comments, students’ self-evaluations, and any other pertinent items, will be a barometer of the week and sent home at the end of the session.

Lunch is from 13h to 14h. If your child is only registered for the morning session, he or she may take lunch in the cafeteria. Pre-register for lunch service or bring your own; microwaves, utensils, napkins and cups/water are available for your convenience. All students eat together.
