NEW program in 2016-17 for students in EC3 - GRADE 1 for Tuesdays
KIDS' CLUB (click here for details)

The following activities are available for students for Spring 2017 (Jan 9 - June 9):  Please be mindful of the grade levels for each activity.  Students should have a snack and a bottle of water for any activity period. Activity instructors meet students after school in front of the LS Library and return with students to this location at 17h00 for parent pick-up. For parents of students who take the bus--a gentle reminder that any student younger than Grade 2 must be accompanied by an older sibling or parent for the 17h15 bus service. Once you have registered and paid online, we will send you a confirmation of dates and details of the activity.

NOW CLOSED: Track & Field Ninja Fitness (Mondays, Grades 3-5, in French): Track and Field is more than simply running and jumping, and this themed after-school activity will illustrate the great fun your children will have while getting fit.  Students in grades 3-5 will “enroll” in the Ninja School of Track and Field, where they will improve their physical skills while boosting their cardio endurance, all the while enjoying their time (and improve their French!).  Our certified and experienced instructors come from Paris Pinfit, and they will also work with younger students on Thursdays and even our parents during the week in various Wellness activities. Grades 3-5, Mondays starting January 9, 2017 (16 sessions), 175€

Kids Club (Tuesdays, PreK - Grade 1, in English/French): On Tuesdays, our Early Childhood students spend a tranquil hour exploring and playing in English and in French.  From sharing a healthy snack to reading and puppet theater, from mini-science labs to singing and yoga-kids sessions, our bilingual Tuesday is a wonderful experience that complements the ASP school day. PreK to Grade 1, Tuesdays starting January 10, 2017 (20 sessions), (15h30 - 16h30, 252€) (15h30 - 17h15, 415€)

NOW CLOSED: Arts and Crafts (Tuesdays, Grades 2-5, in French): Our popular Art Club offers multiple activities such as drawing and painting with pencils, pastels, and paint and even the basics of ceramics.  In addition, you will explore the power of recycled art and other themes such as impressionism or cubism.  Our teachers are experienced and passionate, and you will be enchanted by the works you create each week! Grades 2-5, Tuesdays starting January 10, 2017  (17 sessions), 205€

NOW CLOSED: Tennis (Tuesdays, Grades 3-5, in French): Paris is home to the renowned clay courts of Roland Garros and its Grand Slam Tournament each year.  Tennis is one of the most popular sports in France and certainly a central cultural experience for many French students. Students will take lessons in FRENCH with instructors from Players Tennis Academy (off-campus; transportation is provided to and from the courts) The focus is on developing all skills involved in this beautiful game. Students must have their own tennis shoes and rackets to participate.  Open to all levels of players.  More details to follow about the activity day and meeting point. Sessions in FRENCH Grades 3-5, Tuesdays starting January 10, 2017 (17 sessions), 425€

NOW CLOSED: Lego® Engineering (Wednesdays, Grades 2-5 in English/French): The Play-Well team is pleased to offer this semester projects based on the world of space and science fiction!  For both boys and girls, these workshops include building techniques and an exploration of mechanical and architectural principles--motors and gears, construction, machines, concepts like friction and energy, design and scale, and lots of LEGO© fun--and will explore how the different machines in films like "Star Wars" can truly function.  Students will work individually and in groups to create, test, modify, and play with their machines.  Returning students will see new projects and cover new concepts. Classes are bilingual French/English. Grades 2-5, Wednesdays starting January 11, 2017  (17 sessions), 225€

Winter Baseball and Spring Training (Wednesdays, Grades 3-6 in English): Let’s play ball! The World Series may have just ended, but the new season is already around the corner, and if your child loves baseball or softball, s/he will sprint to our Wednesday activity after school.  As we did last year, we will use the Fieldhouse and classroom for our winter sessions and the ASP field outdoors during warmer days.  ASP baseball coach François Mays and a varsity player will coach students to become better fielders, hitters, and baserunners, all while having fun! Grades 3-5, Wednesdays starting January 11, 2017 (17 sessions), 175€

NOW CLOSED: Circus Fitness (Thursdays, Grades 1-2, in English/French): These fitness sessions from our Pinfit team are adapted for younger children: more than simply running and jumping, this circus-themed after-school activity will be great fun.  Students in grades 1-2 will improve their physical skills while boosting their cardio endurance, all the while enjoying their time.  Our certified and experienced instructors come from Paris Pinfit, and they will also work with older students on Mondays and even our parents during the week in various Wellness activities. Grades 1-2, Thursdays starting January 12, 2017 (16 sessions), 175€

NOW CLOSED: Acroyoga Fun (Thursdays, Grades 3-5, in English): With ALL that your children do during the week, let them learn strategies to find true balance and calm. Yes—even for children—yoga reduces anxiety, improves digestion and circulation and helps cardio fitness. And our fun weekly yoga sessions, taught by ASP parent Paula Slocombe, will do even more: students will use visualization, posture and breathing exercises to improve their focus and memory, their endurance and flexibility, and their self-awareness and understanding of the world around them.  More and more professional athletes (like American football players!) and schools are integrating yoga in their routines, and once your kids join our group, you’ll understand why!  Not only will the students enjoy the sessions, they will come home feeling better . . . literally! Grades 3-5, Thursdays starting January 12, 2017  (16 sessions), 150€ special promotional fee
