Join Us - There's something for everyone!

Throughout the year, a variety of events are organized by and for the ASP parent and family community. On this page you will find information on recent and upcoming events.

  • PFA Welcome Meeting
  • All School Community Picnic
  • Living Skills Seminars -'Food in France', 'Healthcare, Security, Transport', 'Navigating ASP and Shopping'    NOTE: A Mid-Year Living Skills Seminar will take place in January for families who have arrived after the start of the school year.
  • Community Connections Fair

Winter Fest

Saturday, Dec 3, 2016 - The PFA organizes this year-end holiday event with arts and crafts, music and other fun activities geared primarily towards Lower School students and families.  A special white-bearded visitor is rumored to stop by on this date - you won't want to miss it! Please contact to learn more!

Bonne Année Cocktail

Our all-school, adult cocktail follows the French tradition of welcoming the New Year in the month of January. Don’t miss this annual gathering of ASP parents, faculty and staff, compliments of the ASP Board of Trustees.

The ASP Visiting Writer Program

For the past fourteen years, thanks to a generous gift from literary agent Steven Barclay (ASP Class of 1977), ASP has been able to showcase one of the literary world's best known authors at our Visiting Writer Program.  This event is one of ASP's premiere community events and is a highlight of the school calendar.   See more

International Day

Each Spring ASP celebrates its incredible diversity through International Day, a fun-filled showcase of food, music, crafts and games from around the world, especially from the countries represented in the ASP community.  See more about this special event.

Volunteer Appreciation Celebration

Volunteers are an essential and valuable resource. So many events and projects would not be possible without their effort and committment. At the end of every school year we set-aside a special afternoon to recognize and thank our parent volunteers wholeheartedly for the time and input they have contributed to our school.  MERCI!

Back To School Family Barbecue

On Saturday, Sept 3, 2016 we held our first-ever Welcome Back BBQ. Overall, about 830 ASP family members attended the event (900 with staff and security!) - more than we had ever anticipated or dreamed of! The atmosphere was so convivial, the weather was great and everyone seemed to really enjoy the day. The BBQ, the musical entertainment, the Clubs, the games, the grounds and security - everything was perfect!

We look forward making this event a tradition not to miss!

LS "Trunk or Treat" Event

The 2nd annual LS "Trunk or Treat" took place Saturday, Oct 15. A fun filled afternon for children and parents alike.  The 'Habitat for Humanity' student slub offered face painting and  "trick or treat" bag decoration. Our mascot, Lafayette, helped lead the over 100 "trunk or treaters" to the procession of decorated trunks.  Enjoy the highlights.
