I've been a teacher for over 30 years and joined ASP in 1986. What I love most about ASP is its international flavor. Like many of our students, I had the opportunity to travel around the world growing up. I was born in Germany and have lived Mali, Madagascar, and France. I speak five different languages, English, French, Italian, German and Russian, thanks to my nomadic existence. My favorite place in Paris would have to be Notre Dame - it's where I had my first kiss!
If there were three bits of advice that I would give any educator trying to help their students, it would be:
1) Love them
